How do I start receiving care?

To get care, follow these steps:

1) From the Dashboard, select the Get Care Now button.

2) Confirm or change the state where you want to get care so we can match you with the appropriate Care Team.

3) Select the service you need.

4) You may get a screen that lets you choose to get care by booking a visit or by sending a message. Select the one you prefer.

a) If you don't get this screen or you'd like to send a message, jump to step 10.

b) If you'd like to book a visit, select “By Visit."

5) The health centers you can book within the selected state will display. Select your preferred center.

6) The visits available for booking at the selected center will be displayed. You can toggle between in-person and video/phone visits. Select the visit type you want.

7) The providers with available timeslots for the selected visit will be displayed. Select a date to open up the detailed time slots for the provider you wish to book with.

Alternatively, you can select the next available visit at the top.

From the detailed timeslots, choose the time that works best for you.

8) Enter your reason for the visit, confirm/enter your phone number, and select any consents that appear. Additionally, you can update your timezone preference, opt in/out of SMS text notifications, and specify reasonable accommodations for your visit.

Click the “Schedule visit” button to book.

9) Your visit is booked. You’ll receive a visit confirmation email with the details.

10) If booking a visit is not available for the service you selected, or you prefer to get care by message, you’ll be taken to the compose message screen:

a) Select a message recipient.

b) Select a subject from the list or type in your own.

c) Write your message. Please enter as much information as you can provide, and if applicable, attach any photos as well.  The more information our Care Team initially receives, the sooner they can initiate care.

d) Click the “Create conversation” button to send your message.

11) If this is the first conversation you've started, you may be prompted to review and accept the Crossover Universal Consent as displayed below.  Once you’ve reviewed the form, please select “I Consent” to send your message.

12) Congratulations! Your message has been sent to your Care Team, and they’ll be in touch shortly.
