Can you explain the terminology? What is a Conversation? What do you mean by “visit”? Are we still creating Episodes of Care?
All of these are the ways we talk about how members communicate with and see their providers. Here’s a breakdown:
Conversations: formerly called messages. A Conversation includes all communication related to your care. This may include online communication with your provider(s), questionnaires/quizzes, and virtual or in-person visits.
Visits: refers to your appointments. These can be virtual or in-person.
Episodes of Care. We no longer use this term. Episodes are now called Conversations.
