Phone Visit Tips

To help you get the most out of your visit, we’ve provided the following guidelines for phone appointments.

1)  Find an appropriate setting for your visit.

    • We strongly encourage all of our Members to find a quiet, safe, and private setting (e.g., their office).
    • During your phone visit, please refrain from engaging in any other activities such as texting, emailing, or conversing with others.
    • If there are people who are within listening range of your device, or if you have a pet nearby, please make your provider aware.

2) What we expect from our Members: You should  approach your phone visit as you would an in-person doctor’s visit, including:

    • Direct your full attention to the appointment and not engage in other tasks (such as cooking, walking around, or working).
    • If you attend your visit under the influence of alcohol or other substances, your provider may end your session early.

3)  A note on privacy:

    • Audio and/or video recording of your phone appointment is strictly prohibited.
