How do I add or register my minor dependent to my account?

Below are instructions on how Primary Account Holders can register their minor dependent(s) (typically under age 12, though the age of consent varies by state) under their Crossover Health account.  The minor’s account will be linked to and managed through the primary account holder’s profile.

Minor dependents under the age of consent (typically under 12, though this varies by state)will show a “Register” button beneath their name and date of birth in your “Dependents” tab.  When you click this button, you will see a registration form for the minor.

1) As the Parent or Legal Guardian, you will be asked to confirm the child’s name, date of birth, and your relationship to them.. The primary account holder’s address will be listed and kept as the child's primary address, though you can update their address on the “Account & Settings” page.

2) Review and accept the Crossover Universal Consent form on behalf of the minor, which covers legal rights and access to medical information. To complete the registration, check the box certifying that you’ve read the consent form and have legal authority to consent for the minor. Then click the “Register” button.”

Once the minor is registered, the minor’s account' will be nested under yours, indicated by a downward arrow next to your name.

Clicking on this arrow will show all minors under your account. To access a specific account, click their name in the drop-down menu.
